Cuyabeno Dolphin Lodge, operated by ECOSPORTOUR CIA. LTDA. (Quito, Ecuador), respects your privacy. This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what your choices are. It is written to comply with Ecuador’s Organic Law on Personal Data Protection (LOPDP).
What we collect
- Booking and contact forms: when you send a booking request or contact form we receive the data you type — your name, email address, travel dates, group size and your message. We use it only to answer you and organize your trip.
- WhatsApp: if you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp, the conversation happens on WhatsApp’s platform under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
- Server logs: like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
This site uses a small number of functional cookies: the language selector stores your language preference, and our reviews widget loads content from Trustindex (which displays our real Tripadvisor reviews). We do not currently run advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. If we add measurement tools in the future, this policy will be updated first.
What we never do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.
- We do not send marketing emails you did not ask for.
- We only share your data with the people who need it to operate your tour (for example, our logistics team coordinating your pickup).
How long we keep it
We keep booking correspondence for as long as needed to manage your reservation and meet Ecuadorian legal and tax obligations, and we delete it when it is no longer necessary.
Your rights
Under the LOPDP you can ask us at any time to access, correct, update or delete the personal data we hold about you. Write to info@cuyabenodolphinlodge.com and we will take care of it.
